Two weeks after his last victory, Sean Strickland returned to the Octagon for a very tough matchup against Brendan Allen, who had a fight fall through last week when his opponent tested positive for COVID-19. After a two-year layoff due to an injury from a motorcycle crash, Strickland has looked great in his two bouts back. Through 8:28 of action, Strickland out-struck Allen, scoring 94 significant strikes (106 total strikes), earning the second-round TKO stoppage. Strickland has been on fire since returning to the Octagon and may find himself in the top 15 at middleweight after defeating a white-hot Allen.--Matt Bricker
