Sean Bouchard Needs Surgery On Biceps
2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Sean Bouchard (biceps) was diagnosed with a left distal biceps rupture, which means surgery. Bouchard and the Rockies are holding out hope he won't miss the entire 2023 season. He was injured in the first inning of the team's Cactus League game on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels. Even if the 26-year-old is somehow able to play this year, he's likely to miss the majority of the campaign. It's a tough break for the young outfielder, as he had a shot to see valuable playing time for the Rockies after making his MLB debut in 2022. In 27 games last season, he hit .297/.454/.500 with a .954 OPS, three home runs and 11 RBI in a small sample size of 97 plate appearances.
