Although Scottie Scheffler gained strokes in nearly every aspect of his game at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, his struggles with his putter -- where he lost 5.3 strokes -- kept him from climbing the leaderboard as he ultimately finished T11. He now turns his attention to The PLAYERS Championship, where he's looking to secure a third consecutive victory. In his back-to-back wins in 2023 and 2024, Scheffler gained a combined 33.046 strokes from tee to green, and he'll need to excel in this category again, with a particular focus on accuracy off the tee and on approach. Scheffler ranks 112th in driving accuracy but is 50th in strokes gained off the tee (0.289 per round), second in strokes gained from tee to green (1.341 per round), and seventh in approach (0.960 per round). He also ranks in the 99th percentile over the last 12 months in proximity from 100-150 yards, a range that accounted for 32.3% of all approach shots at Sawgrass last year. Fantasy managers should once again play Scheffler with confidence as he looks for the three-peat at TPC Sawgrass.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller
