An MRI on the shoulder of Cincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett showed no serious issues. "There's definitely some inflammation in there, but nothing serious. It was good news for the most part," said Gennett. Gennett has been dealing with a sore shoulder for much of the first month of the season, an issue which has limited him to pinch-hitting and designated hitter duties of late. Gennett told reporters on Tuesday that he hopes a few more days without throwing will help. He is expected to be able to return to a full-time role at some point in the next week.--Matt T - RotoBaller
