New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner (concussion) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. The Jets also ruled out star receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) for a second straight game. Gardner suffered a concussion in the Week 7 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The Jets have their bye coming in Week 9, so hopefully Gardner can gain clearance from the NFL's concussion protocol in time to play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10 on Sunday, Nov. 9. With Gardner out this weekend, the winless Jets are going to have an even tougher time trying to slow down the receiving combo of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. One of Jarvis Brownlee or Qwan'tez Stiggers figures to start for the Jets at cornerback on Sunday. It could be another long day for the Jets faithful.--Keith Hernandez
