4 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins (calf) wasn't seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday. Watkins sat out the Week 17 regular season finale and had two full weeks of rest leading up to the Divisional Round. The Chiefs might just be playing it safe with the 27-year-old pass-catcher, but we'll need to continue keeping a close eye on his practice status throughout the week. As of now, fantasy manager shouldn't consider Watkins a very reliable fantasy weapon against Cleveland this Sunday. In his third season with KC, Watkins had 37 receptions on 55 targets for 421 yards and a career-low two touchdowns in only 10 games. With all the other weapons the Chiefs offense has, the chances of Watkins blowing up (if he plays) remain remote. Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson would be more attractive as deep sleepers if Watkins cannot play.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
