11 months agoWashington Redskins running back Samaje Perine could be the odd man out for the final roster. Rookie Derrius Guice and Chris Thompson will be their top two backs, and head coach Jay Gruden continues to praise Rob Kelley in training camp. Washington would like to keep either Byron Marshall or Kapri Bibbs as a backup to Thompson in a pass-catching role. Perine started just eight games last year and had a weak 3.4 yards per carry. He could be a candidate for a trade. The second-year back just didn't take advantage of his opportunity last year with Kelley and Thompson injured, and he shouldn't be drafted in standard-sized leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
