Sam Stevens finished tied for 31st at last week's Genesis Invitational and has not missed a cut in any of the six tournaments he has played in 2025. His best performance so far was a second-place finish at the Farmers Insurance Open last month. Now, he is focusing on preparing for this week's Mexico Open, which takes place at Vidanta Vallarta. Stevens' only previous appearance at the Mexico Open was in 2024, where he missed the cut. Over the past 12 months, he ranks in the 20th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from over 200 yards in the fairway. This is particularly relevant because over 43% of approach shots at last year's Mexico Open came from this distance. While Stevens has been performing well, his past performance at this tournament indicates that including him in DFS lineups this week may carry some risk.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
