Sam Ryder is coming off consecutive top-20 finishes. The American golfer played well enough to contend at The Players Championship and then the Valspar Championship. That is not easy to do, and he finished T14 and T16, respectively. Ryder has been quite consistent, making all eight cuts. Furthermore, he has only had one round worse than a 72 (74 at the Farmers in January). This may not be a recipe to win, but Ryder has a chance to contend and factor into DFS plans. Ryder's putter has been excellent, ranking second in strokes gained at 0.861. While some see regression coming, Ryder approaches the greens well, too, (47th at 0.352 strokes gained). Ryder is plus-320 to finish inside the top 20 for a reason. With slower greens expected due to rain, the American could get a boost in Texas.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
