Sam Burns Rested For Defense Of Charles Schwab
2 years agoSam Burns is primed to defend his Charles Schwab triumph from last year. The American golfer won in a playoff over Scottie Scheffler. However, this year has seen two consecutive tournaments where Burns failed to make the cut. Worse, Burns imploded at Oak Hill last week shooting 74-80 for a +14. With the way the course is set up, it may take better than -9 to win this time around. Does Burns have the ability to shake off two bad events in a row? He already did earlier in the year which led to the WGC Match Play title.
