Florida Panthers center Sam Bennett (lower body) looks set to miss the start of the season, with Panthers head coach Paul Maurice saying that he could be unavailable for a couple of weeks. Bennett has been seen wearing a walking boot after suffering a lower-body injury in Thursday's preseason game against Tampa Bay. It's a bitter blow for the 27-year-old after he already missed a large chunk of the end of last season with injury. The 2022-23 campaign ended with 40 points (16 goals, 24 assists) in 63 games for Bennett. Eetu Luostarinen will replace Bennett on the second line for the start of the year.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
