7 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (knee) is recovering quickly from his torn meniscus, according to reports. Perez can apparently already squat with less tightness, so the expectation is that he may be back to action earlier than originally predicted. The team's offense is dreadful, so Perez's return is highly anticipated. However, owners shouldn't be surprised if he gets more off days than normal when he does return, as the team isn't expected to be competitive for a playoff spot this year.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
