Roush-Fenway Racing driver Ryan Newman is making his 38th start at Daytona in this year’s Daytona 500. In his Cup career at the track, Newman has one win and 11 Top 10 finishes. Since 2018 at DIS, Newman has the most Fastest Laps (28). In the last five races at the site, Newman scored four Top 10 finishes and placed ahead of his starting position four times. “The Rocket Man” has placed outside of the Top 20 only two times at Daytona since 2015, making him one of the most consistent drivers in recent years. Newman starts seventh and has a cheap price too. Don’t expect Newman to win this week or to gain place differential, but he is a solid bargain as a contender for a Top 10 finish.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
