Russell Wilson Playing Into MVP Conversation
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson put on a phenomenal show on Thursday night as he threw four touchdown passes and zero interceptions in Seattle's defeat of the Rams. Wilson has now thrown for 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions this season, and he's recorded a ridiculous 126.5 passer rating through the first five games of the season. His TD passes in this game included a mind-boggling throw to Tyler Lockett, a gorgeous 40-yard bomb to D.K. Metcalf, and a floater to Chris Carson, who was wide open because of Wilson's ability to run. Wilson is now a strong contender in the MVP race for 2019.
