Royce Lewis Injured Tuesday
1 year agoMinnesota Twins infielder Royce Lewis (hamstring) left Tuesday's game early against the Cincinnati Reds with left-hamstring tightness. Lewis initially injured his hamstring in the sixth inning and tried to stay in before eventually leaving in the eighth frame. For now, he's being considered day-to-day, so fantasy managers will want to check back on Wednesday to see if he's able to return to the lineup. Before leaving, the 24-year-old went 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout. The former first overall pick in 2017 has only played in 58 games this year due to injuries, but when he's been active he's been great for the Twins and fantasy managers. Lewis entered Tuesday's contest hitting .308 (66-for-214) with 15 home runs (four grand slams), seven doubles, 52 RBI, six stolen bases and 36 runs scored in 235 plate appearances.
