Ross Dwelley On Track For Starting Job
Ross Dwelley should slot into a starting role after George Kittle (calf) was placed on injured reserve. The 26-year-old has filled a depth role in the 49ers' offense ever since 2018 and now finds himself in line for an increased workload. San Francisco also has Charlie Woerner and Tanner Hudson on its roster, as well as Jordan Matthews on the practice squad. Dwelley caught his first pass of the season last Sunday, taking it 21 yards to the end zone. He's worth rostering in deeper leagues but should be kept out of starting lineups in most formats.
