Rose Namajunas Could Avenge Title Loss With Victory
4 years agoRose Namajunas (8-4) returns to action against the woman who defeated her for her title in Jessica Andrade. Don't let her record fool you, though. Those four losses are to some of the very best strawweights in history. Prior to the Andrade defeat, Namajunas defeated the former strawweight queen Joanna Jedrzejczyk in back-to-back bouts. She also lands nearly four significant strikes per minute and has a significant-strike defense of 60%. The product of coach Trevor Whittman has become a dangerous striker in her last few outings. Namajunas' price tag at DraftKings is listed at $9,000. She has an average score of 82.9 points and has broken 88 in three of her last four bouts. Two of those bouts were over 100 points. In their first bout, Namajunas was handing Andrade well until Andrade landed a takedown that knocked out Namajunas in the second round.
