Ronald Jones II Doesn't Practice Wednesday
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that running back Ronald Jones II (quadriceps) didn't practice on Wednesday, but he's improving and is hoping to return to practice on Thursday. The 23-year-old couldn't get his leg loose in the wild-card round against Washington and didn't play at all, paving the way for Leonard Fournette to see the lion's share of carries in the backfield. Jones has an extra day to heal up, but he should be considered questionable and a pretty risky fantasy RB with the game against the Saints in the Divisional Round on Sunday night. Both Jones and Fournette will be volatile RBs this weekend against a Saints Defense that allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to the position during the regular season. There's also the possibility that Jones sees fewer snaps on Sunday if he returns to the fold.
