Romeo Doubs To Have Bigger Role In Week 3?
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs is "going to have to take more of a load this week." Receivers Allen Lazard (ankle), Randall Cobb (illness), Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and Christian Watson (hamstring) could all be questionable to play in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week, which would force Doubs into a bigger role on offense. Through two games, the fourth-round rookie has six receptions on eight targets for 64 yards. He played 57 percent of the snaps in Week 1 before dropping to 37 percent in the Week 2 win over the Chicago Bears. It remains to be seen which receivers will be available to the Packers on Sunday, but even with a bigger role, Doubs will be a deep-league flex option, at best, against a tough Buccaneers defense.
