Romeo Doubs Dealing With High-Ankle Sprain
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs (ankle) has a high-ankle sprain, according to a source. It's an injury that usually requires four to six weeks on the sidelines, although further tests will determine Doubs' timetable for a return. In any case, we won't see Doubs for at least several weeks, which is more bad news for quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' inept offense. Rookie Christian Watson also suffered his second concussion in as many weeks in the Week 9 loss to the Detroit Lions, so he's likely looking at missed time as well. With Doubs and Watson likely both out in Week 10 against the Dallas Cowboys, Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkins and rookie Samori Toure could be the team's top three wideouts. Randall Cobb (ankle) remains on Injured Reserve.
