8/12:Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano (suspension) is expected to rest rather than play in today's game with Class-A Everett, as he feels he is ready to return to the big leagues, per's Greg Johns. Cano is expected to fly out to Oakland on Monday and rejoin the Mariners for Tuesday's game. The 35-year-old had posted a .287/.385/.441 slash line through 39 games prior to his suspension, and while his production may fluctuate on his return, both the Mariners and fantasy owners should be excited about getting his bat back in their lineups for the end-of-season stretch.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
