Toronto Blue Jays closer Roberoto Osuna may be facing a “significant ban” as the assault allegations against him are of a “physical nature”, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports. Osuna’s administrative leave was extended this week through May 28, and you can bet it’s only going to be extended further with the initial hearing in mid-June. Osuna has denied any physical harm in this case, but the legal process will be the judge of that. There’s a chance Osuna could face a 30-game ban, possibly more, depending on how this plays out. Fantasy owners should be planning to be without him for awhile. Tyler Clippard remains the closer in Toronto, though after Wednesday’s disastrous outing one has to wonder if Ryan Tepera will get a shot any time soon.--John Smith
