Robbie Ray Throws Four Shutout Innings
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays hurler Robbie Ray threw four no-hit innings on Saturday afternoon against the Baltimore Orioles. He walked two batters but also struck out three hitters and his fastball was sitting 95-97 mph in the first two innings. In 8.1 innings stretched over three starts this spring, Ray has struck out 11 batters while allowing just two hits and four walks. The lefty is looking like the early favorite to settle into the No. 2 slot behind ace Hyun-Jin Ryu. His success will hinge on his ability to throw consistent strikes. With an ADP of 290, Ray is looking like an excellent low-risk target for the coming fantasy season.
