Robbie Ray Tagged With His Sixth Loss On Wednesday
Robbie Ray had a rough outing against the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday. He pitched five innings and allowed six hits, three walks and four earned runs while striking out six. He was tagged with the loss in the game, dropping his season-long record to 4-6. Most of the damage in Wednesday's game came in the second inning, when Orioles second baseman Rougned Odor blasted a three-run homer. Ray now has a 4.93 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP on the year. He lines up for a pair of intimidating starts against the Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox next week on Monday and Sunday, respectively.
