Rishard Matthews Could Have Reps Limited
6 years agoAfter missing so much time in training camp and the preseason with a torn meniscus, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews (knee) knows his repetitions early in the year could be limited. “That is the kind of the plan, so wherever they need me,” he said. “The young guys have been doing good, so wherever they need me to contribute, I am ready to go in there and do what I have to do.” Matthews has led the team with 1,740 yards and 13 touchdowns in the last two seasons, but Corey Davis will take over the No. 1 role this year. Matthews should still be owned in most leagues, but he isn't a viable fantasy starter for Week 1 against his old team, the Dolphins.
