Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman (Achilles) will undergo a clean-up procedure on his other ankle/heel in the offseason, according to head coach Pete Carroll. The recovery period will be around four to six weeks, and bone spurs will also be cleaned out during the operation. This has nothing to do with Sherman's ruptured Achilles, but either way, he should be ready to roll in training camp over the summer. Sherman's loss midway through the season was just one of several devastating injuries to Seattle's defense that saw them fall off late. Sherman's return should help them get back to better days in 2018.--Keith HernandezRead More News
