Rhamondre Stevenson 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: A Change of the Guard Could be Near
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson is entering a career-defining season. He is now multiple Patriots regimes away from the one that brought him in the first place. After an RB7 finish in 2022, Stevenson has followed that up with finishes of RB35 and RB28 in the two seasons since. Part of those seasons were lost to injuries, but Stevenson has also not appeared to be as explosive as he once was. Stevenson's superpower has always been pass-catching. However, the Patriots brought in former Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson in Round 2 of the NFL Draft. Henderson excels as a pass catcher, and his explosiveness is unrivaled on this team. Henderson will likely be brought on slowly, but he should substantially eat into Stevenson's workload as the season progresses. Given Henderson's talent, do not be surprised if Stevenson is even superseded on the depth chart. The new Patriots' coaching staff liked Henderson enough to take him early on Day 2 despite a need at many other positions. RotoBaller is already ahead of the curve, having ranked Stevenson at RB34 and Henderson at RB26.
