The Cincinnati Reds drafted Chipola Junior College third baseman Cam Collier, the son of former big-leaguer Lou Collier, with the 18th overall pick in the 2022 MLB draft on Sunday. Collier left high school early to play in junior college and be eligible for this year's draft, which makes him one of the youngest players in this class at just 17 years of age. He has an advanced approach at the plate for his age and was successful at Chipola and in the Cape Cod League. The young infielder has the tools to stick at third base long term and should only develop more power as he matures. Collier hits from the left side of the plate and stands at 6-foot-1, 219 pounds.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
