5 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens are officially placing the franchise tag on linebacker Matthew Judon, according to sources. This was fully expected. Judon, 27, may be a tag-and-trade candidate if the two sides are unable to work out a long-term contract extension by this summer. He racked up a career-high 9.5 sacks in 16 games last season while also recording 54 tackles (43 solo) and four forced fumbles. Even if Judon isn't on the squad to begin the 2020 season, Baltimore's ball-hawking defense will be a high-end fantasy target near the end of drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
