Ravens Involved In Free-Agent QB Market
2 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens, who face uncertainty around quarterback Lamar Jackson's future, have been involved in the free-agent QB market and looked into options such as Baker Mayfield and Jacoby Brissett before they signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Commanders, respectively, according to league sources. The Ravens appear to be looking for flexibility. The are also likely to retain restricted free-agent QB Tyler Huntley as insurance under center in case they let Jackson sign with another team on the non-exclusive franchise tag. Once Aaron Rodgers' future is decided, Jackson's situation will be the most followed NFL storyline this offseason. The two sides will have until July to work out a long-term contract extension.
