Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin picked up an assist with a plus-one rating, four shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 4-3 shootout victory against the St. Louis Blues. The helper was his 38th point of the season, moving him into a tie with Hall of Famer Bobby Orr for the second-most points in NHL history by an 18-year-old rearguard. It was a long time coming, as he had been scoreless in the first eight games in the month of March while posting a minus-6 rating during the span. He might be hitting the proverbial rookie wall, but he has been everything as advertised this season as the No. 1 overall pick in last year's draft.--Daniel Dobish
