Randall Cobb Will Have Limited Role
1 year agoNew York Jets wide receiver Randall Cobb seems to understand that his role will be limited this year. "I know this isn't the prime of my career," Cobb said. "But I still have a lot left in the tank. If you watch what I've done the last few years, I'm really efficient." He brings valuable veteran leadership and depth as a slot receiver and kick returner, and he's also one of quarterback Aaron Rodgers' best friends. The 32-year-old finished 2022 with 34 receptions, 417 yards and one touchdown in 13 games (three starts). In New York, he'll likely be the No. 5 wideout behind Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman Jr. and Corey Davis, so fantasy managers will want to leave Cobb to the waiver wire in the vast majority of leagues.
