Raiders Reach Extension With Richie Incognito
5 years agoThe Oakland Raiders signed offensive guard Richie Incognito to a two-year, $14 million extension on Monday. Incognito, who will be 37 years old next year, will be a "big part" of the team's foundation going forward, according to head coach Jon Gruden. Having Incognito next to Pro Bowl center Rodney Hudson, right guard Gabe Jackson, Pro Bowl right tackle Trent Brown and Kolton Miller is excellent news for running back Josh Jacobs heading into 2020 and beyond. Incognito's five blown blocks on 742 snaps in 2019 was the best rate of any lineman with at least 200 snaps. It's a good story for a player that had been out of football since 2017 due to off-field issues.
