Raiders Defense Has Tall Task In Week 1
4 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders defense has the unenviable task of trying to shut down All-Pro do-it-all running back Christian McCaffrey in Week 1 on the road. McCaffrey had an MVP-caliber season last year, going over 1,000 yards both rushing and receiving with 19 total touchdowns. Pro Bowl linebacker Cory Littleton will be leaned on heavily in order to try and slow McCaffrey down in both the running and passing game. Although Las Vegas upgraded their defense in the middle of the field and have an intriguing young core in the secondary, they're well off the fantasy radar to begin the 2020 season. The Raiders had the fourth-lowest scoring defense in fantasy in 2019.
