At age 50, Phil Mickelson and long-hitting courses offer too much risk to consider him even a remote option. He ranks just 125th in birdies and accuracy has waned considerably through the years. Now, Mickelson can still drive a ball 301.5 yards on average but his driving accuracy is a woeful 51%. One cannot miss at Kiawah Island and Mickelson has missed a lot of fairways on tour in 2021.
