Winnipeg Jets right wing Patrik Laine lifted the team past Ottawa on Saturday, scoring three power-play goals in a 5-2 win. Kyle Connor had a big four-point game with one goal and three assists, while Blake Wheeler delivered two dimes. Laine has now scored eight goals in his past eight games, taking his tally for the season up to 23 markers. He also surpassed the 50-point mark on Saturday. Laine has been very inconsistent this season, so you never really know when the wheels come off again, but he's one of the hottest goal-scorers around at the moment. He takes on another fragile defense on Sunday in a matchup against Chicago.--Taavi Pailk
