Columbus Blue Jackets winger Patrik Laine is in the COVID-19 protocols and it's unclear when he can return to action. Columbus was set to restart the season on Tuesday against Buffalo, but the game was postponed due to severe weather conditions and thus Laine won't miss any action initially. However, he might still not be ready to play when Thursday's clash with the Islanders comes around. Health issues have sadly accompanied Laine all season and he's been able to skate in just 20 games, putting up nine goals and seven assists. His absence and multiple other injuries pushed Kirill Marchenko to the first line for Tuesday's practice. The Russian winger has scored in back-to-back games and finds himself in a superb spot to extend the streak if he remains on the top line for Thursday's game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
