5 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) is practicing again on Thursday, but he's not expected to do a whole lot for the second straight day. Mahomes is recovering from his dislocated kneecap at a good rate, but he's still unlikely to play in Week 8 on Sunday night against the Packers. But the athletic Mahomes might only wind up missing one game if he continues to progress into next week. With backup Matt Moore expected to be under center on Sunday night in a tough matchup, you'll need to downgrade KC's skill players (mainly Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and LeSean McCoy) slightly.
