Patrick Mahomes, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Sammy Watkins Practice
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (concussion, toe), rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle, hip) and wide receiver Sammy Watkins (calf) all took part in practice on a limited basis on Wednesday, but head coach Andy Reid said that Thursday's practice is the big day. Mahomes took most of the snaps, a very positive sign that he'll be ready for the AFC Championship against the Bills. He remains asymptomatic and is expected to increase his activities throughout the week, barring a setback. Edwards-Helaire hasn't played since Week 15 and could see his snaps limited if he's active this Sunday, making him a boom/bust fantasy option. Watkins hasn't played since Week 16 and has been hit-or-miss all year (mostly miss), making him a dart throw in DFS if he's active against Buffalo.
