Pat Freiermuth On Track To Play Against Ravens
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) practiced in full on Thursday for the second straight day. Freiermuth entered the league's concussion protocol when he took a shot to the head in last Sunday's blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but he has been practicing in full this week and should be able to clear the protocols as long as he doesn't suffer any sort of setback on Friday or Saturday. The 23-year-old has become an excellent weapon for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, especially in the red zone, as the rookie has six touchdowns in his first 11 NFL games, including five scores in the last five games. Against a Ravens defense that hasn't slowed down much through the air this year, Freiermuth should be in most starting lineups.
