Parker Washington Expected To Play In Slot
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Parker Washington, who was taken in the sixth round (185th overall) in this year's NFL draft, is expected to play in the slot in Jacksonville. He was sidelined for a little bit this offseason due to an ankle injury suffered at the end of his college season in 2022, but he has been able to ramp up his work at organized team activities. He didn't stand out much at OTAs and is playing behind several returning starters. It will take the 21-year-old wideout a while to get acclimated to the team's playbook while coming back from last year's injury. Washington will attempt to win a roster spot this summer at training camp in a crowded receiver room.
