Columbus Blue Jackets forward Cam Atkinson scored two third period goals, including the game-winner on the power play, in Saturday night's victory over the Golden Knights. Atkinson now has 54 points on the season and is a mere eight points away from matching his career high in points. An elevated shooting percentage of 15 percent has helped put Atkinson on a career-best 1.04 points per game pace however he is on pace to set a career-high in assists as well which suggests there is more than just an unsustainable shooting percentage at work here. While it is possible that the 29-year-old forward has found the next level to his offensive game, it is more likely that next year he will return to around a 60 point pace once his shooting percentage regresses towards his 11.8 percent career average and linemate/free-agent-to-be Artemi Panarin makes his seemingly inevitable exit from Columbus.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
