Christian Watson Suffers Knee Injury, Questionable To Return
Christian Watson (knee) left Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears with an apparent knee injury and the team has ruled him questionable to return. The third-year receiver has appeared on the injury report a handful of times this season, so they may take the cautious route with the playoffs right around the corner. He saw one target but didn't register any stats before leaving. Dontayvion Wicks and Tucker Kraft have seen the bulk of the targets so far in this game.Source: Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordan Love Questionable To Return With Elbow Injury
Jordan Love (elbow) exited Sunday's game in the second quarter with what the team is calling a right elbow injury. Love expressed his discomfort after getting hit as he threw the ball and went to the sidelines shortly afterward. He posted 69 yards on 7-for-12 throwing before leaving, and Malik Willis has taken over at quarterback. The Packers likely won't rush him back since they've clinched a wildcard spot already.Source: Adam Schefter
Green Bay Packers quarterback Josh Jacobs Doesn't Anticipate Massive Workload Sunday
Josh Jacobs acknowledged that he doesn't expect to handle a large number of touches during Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Chicago Bears. "Just being honest, being realistic, I don't see me taking that many carries in this game," Jacobs previously said. "Obviously, I want to play. I'm going to push to play, and I'm playing. But I don't see myself taking 30 carries." The Packers are locked into a Wild Card spot, so the Packers might consider reducing some of their starters' workloads to preserve their health. That list of players would surely include Jacobs, who has 1,625 scrimmage yards and 15 touchdowns this season. He could still lead the Green Bay backfield on Sunday, but we would expect Chris Brooks and Emanuel Wilson to remain involved so that Jacobs can stay fresh for the playoffs.Source: Jason B. Green Bay Packers running back Romeo Doubs Won't Suit Up Against Chicago
Romeo Doubs (illness) is inactive for Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Chicago Bears. He had been listed as questionable after his late addition to the injury report on Saturday. The 24-year-old finishes the regular season as the overall WR52 in PPR leagues, catching 46 passes for 601 yards and four touchdowns over the course of 16 games. He has been one of several impactful pass-catchers in the Packers' offense, commanding targets amidst a committee of low-end fantasy receivers. His absence in Week 18 leaves Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, and Dontayvion Wicks as the Packers' top healthy wide receivers.Source: Tom Pelissero
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson Active For Week 18
Christian Watson (knee) is officially active for Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Chicago Bears. He had been listed as questionable. The 25-year-old returns from a one-game absence to play in the Packers' regular-season finale. Watson's highest yardage total of the season came against the Bears back in Week 11 when he caught all four of his passes for a whopping 150 yards through the air. While he'll hope to replicate that performance this Sunday, that's far from guaranteed. He's averaging just 1.8 catches, 27.4 yards, and zero touchdowns over his last five contests, and he's not a dependable option for fantasy lineups in leagues with 12 or fewer teams.Source: Tom Pelissero
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Brandon McManus A Solid Week 18 Play
Brandon McManus is an excellent option this weekend when his team squares off with the visiting Chicago Bears in Week 18. The twelfth-year pro has been exceptional since taking over the Packers' kicking job in Week 7 -- driving through all 29 extra-point tries and missing just one of his 18 field goal attempts. This Sunday, he'll line up against a Bears defense that's been friendly to kickers in 2024, giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position (9.4). Moreover, Green Bay is scoring the eighth-most points per game in the league (27.4) -- so the 33-year-old should again be afforded plenty of scoring opportunities in the contest. The veteran is RotoBaller's K9 ahead of the season's final slate.Source: ESPN
Green Bay Packers placekicker Jaire Alexander Placed On Injured Reserve
Source: Ian Rapoport
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Green Bay Packers are placing defensive back Jaire Alexander (knee) on Injured Reserve on Saturday. As a result, Alexander will miss the next four contests, leaving the door open for a return in the Super Bowl if the Packers were to reach that game. For the time being, fantasy managers should expect Carrington Valentine to continue to have an increased role in the Green Bay secondary. Alexander logged only six full games during the regular season in 2024. In those six games, he tallied 16 tackles (15 solo) with seven pass deflections and two interceptions. Green Bay's secondary is much stronger with Alexander in the fold.Christian Watson Questionable For Week 18

Romeo Doubs With Flex Appeal In Week 18 Against Bears
Romeo Doubs looks to keep up the momentum following a voluminous Week 17 to the Packers' Week 18 contest with the Chicago Bears. Doubs led the Packers with 11 targets in Week 17's loss to the Minnesota Vikings and brought in seven of those targets for 58 yards. Over the last seven games since the Packers' Week 10 bye, the Packers have focused more on a ground-and-pound approach with Josh Jacobs leading the charge, but even with the passing volume lacking, Doubs still maintained a solid target floor last week. If Doubs continues to get featured with the status of Christian Watson (knee) up in the air, that should make him the most desirable Packers pass-catcher. However, that only equates to flex-level fantasy value in Week 18 against the Bears.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Packers D/ST A Solid Starting Unit Against Bears
Caleb Williams at home should be a nice tune-up for the Packers, as Williams was sacked three times in the Packers' 20-19 win earlier in the season. Fire up the Packers D/ST as a starting fantasy unit in Week 18.Source: RotoBaller
The Green Bay Packers defense and special teams unit should be one of the best plays in Week 18 as the Packers host the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. The Bears have been losers of 10 straight games and head into Lambeau Field to face a defense that has been playing extremely well of late. Prior to last week against the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers had been a top-five fantasy defense against the Seahawks and Saints with a combined 10 sacks, three interceptions, and a fumble recovery in those two weeks. Facing a rookie quarterback in Tucker Kraft Off Injury Report, A Volatile Low-End TE1 For Week 18
Tucker Kraft (non-injury related) put in a full practice after two limited sessions this week and he looks to end his regular season on a high note as the Packers host the Chicago Bears in Week 18. While Kraft was second on the team in receiving yards (53) in Week 17, he only caught 2-of-3 passes. Kraft has been a top-12 tight end in just two of the last seven weeks with just one game where he amassed over five targets. With the Packers utilizing the run much more than the pass since Green Bay's Week 10 bye, it's hampered the Packers' passing game and the pass-catchers' fantasy value with the lack of consistent passing volume. In Week 18 against the Bears, Kraft is a low-end TE1 but with a much lower floor than a typical TE1.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers tight end Jayden Reed A Risky Flex Play For Week 18
Jayden Reed has been on a steep backslide in the second half but looks to right the ship against the Chicago Bears in Week 18. Over the last seven games, Reed has been a top-30 fantasy wide receiver just once. In Week 17 against the Minnesota Vikings, Reed caught 1-of-4 targets for seven yards in a disappointing performance. The Packers' passing game has taken a backseat to the run game since Green Bay's Week 10 bye week. With a strong running game featuring a flourishing Josh Jacobs, quarterback Jordan Love hasn't needed to pass as much as when they do, targets are usually spread out amongst multiple weapons. For Week 18, Reed is more of a risky low-end flex for fantasy knowing how low the floor is with the Packers' wide receivers.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks Gets Low-End Flex Treatment Against Bears
Dontayvion Wicks could see an increased workload for the Packers' Week 18 contest against the Chicago Bears. Wicks played a bit more with Christian Watson (knee) out for Week 17's game and with Watson questionable in Week 18, Wicks could continue to see plenty of work if Watson is out. Earning the second-most targets (5) on the Packers in Week 17 against the Minnesota Vikings, Wicks caught 4-of-5 passes for 43 yards. The Packers' passing game has been de-emphasized since the team's Week 10 bye week in favor of a strong running game where Josh Jacobs has flourished. Wicks is more of a low-end flex for fantasy purposes in the team's final regular season game before the playoffs.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Josh Jacobs Off Injury Report, Maintains RB1 Status For Week 18
Josh Jacobs (wrist) practiced in full on Friday after two limited practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and will be good to go for Sunday's season finale when the Packers host the Chicago Bears. Jacobs has been fantastic since the team's Week 10 bye with a rushing touchdown in seven consecutive games and a top-12 fantasy finish in six of the last seven games. He's been the engine that powers this Green Bay offense as of late and as Jacobs goes, so do the Packers. Quietly, Jacobs has also put up at least four targets in four of the last seven games as well. With the Packers facing division-rival Chicago in Week 18, Jacobs is a solid RB1 for the team's regular season finale.Source: RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers running back Consider Jordan Love A QB2 For Week 18
Jordan Love looks to put forth a momentum-building effort heading into the playoffs as the Packers host the Chicago Bears in Week 18's regular season finale. Love has been non-startable in fantasy for the most part since Green Bay's Week 10 bye week with just two top 12 fantasy finishes in seven games. He has gone over 250 yards just twice in that span along with only three multi-touchdown games. The passing game has been a secondary focus for the Packers as they have been fueled by the run game and Josh Jacobs. Despite a hugely successful season by the offense, it hasn't manifested into fantasy scoring for Love or his wide receivers for the most part. With the Bears coming up north to Green Bay, consider Love a low-end starter, but probably more of a streaming candidate.Source: RotoBaller
