MarShawn Lloyd Healthy and Without Restrictions
MarShawn Lloyd (appendix) is currently healthy and without restrictions during offseason work as he heads into his sophomore season in the NFL. Lloyd, a third-round pick last year, was supposed to be Josh Jacobs' backup in 2024 while providing an intriguing speed and pass-catching element to the backfield, but injuries limited him to just one game. A healthy Lloyd should easily be Jacobs' backup despite Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks exceeding expectations a year ago. In addition to appendicitis, Lloyd missed time last year with ankle and hamstring injuries. He is extremely talented and has the tools to eventually be a three-down back in the NFL, but after a lost rookie season, he'll pretty much only be a handcuff for Jacobs in ingle-year fantasy leagues in 2025.Source: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman
The Athletic's Matt Schneidman writes that Green Bay Packers running back Packers Sign Matthew Golden to Rookie Deal
Matthew Golden to his four-year rookie deal, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst. Golden will receive a fully-guaranteed $17.57 million with a signing bonus of $9.42 million, according to OverTheCap.com. The Packers took the 21-year-old pass-catcher in the first round at the end of April, the first time they had taken a receiver in the first round since 2002. The 5-foot-11, 191-pounder caught 58 passes for 987 yards and nine touchdowns at Texas in 2024. Golden should play right away in Green Bay, especially with Christian Watson (knee) potentially out for half the season. He will primarily be a field-stretcher for the Packers and could be a boom/bust fantasy commodity in his first NFL campaign in a wideout corps that also includes Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks.Source: Packers.com

Jadon Janke Signs With Green Bay
Jadon Janke to the roster. Gutekunst did not disclose the monetary details of the contract. Janke signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 draft, but was released during training camp and spent the rest of the season with the Miami Dolphins. The South Dakota State product was a multi-year starter during his time at college -- capping out at 57 receptions, 946 yards, and ten touchdowns in his final season. In a stacked Green Bay receiver room, playing time won't come easily. However, he may make the field due to his prowess as a kick returner in college. Janke was more efficient on kickoffs (19.4 per return) than punts (11.4).Source: Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst announced on Wednesday that the team has signed wide receiver Elgton Jenkins Skipping Offseason Workouts, Seeking New Deal To Move To Center
Source: Adam Schefter
Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins is not participating in the team's offseason workout program as he awaits a new contract, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. The two-time Pro Bowler signed a four-year, $68 million contract extension in December of 2022, but is looking for a new deal ahead of his seventh NFL campaign. Jenkins, who is primarily a guard, is open to moving to center full time. However, the highest-paid center in the league, Creed Humphrey, makes $18 million per year, while eight guards match or exceed that figure. Jenkins' current salary of $17 million would make him one of the highest-paid centers in the NFL, but his future earnings could be negatively impacted by making the move to the middle of the offensive line. Jenkins is largely viewed as one of the best interior offensive linemen in the NFL, so it would be wise for Green Bay to meet his demands.Josh Jacobs Looks "Better" This Offseason
Josh Jacobs enjoyed a productive first season with the organization in 2024, rushing 301 times for 1,329 yards and 15 touchdowns to go along with 36 receptions for 342 yards and one score through the air. The former first-round pick out of Alabama looked like he could be headed for a decline in his last of five seasons with the Raiders in 2023, but his improved offensive environment proved to be significant. Packers running back coach Ben Sirmans gave Jacobs praise in a media availability on Wednesday. "He looks even better this year than he did last year at this point," Sirmans said. "His quickness right now, cutting ability going through the drills, he looks better than he did last year at this time." Jacobs finished as the RB5 in half-PPR setups last year, so the positive report is promising heading into next season. He should be firmly in the RB1 mix again for fantasy football purposes.Source: Rob Demovksy

Christian Watson "In A Really Good Spot" In His ACL Rehab
Christian Watson (knee) told FOX reporter Ellie French that he is in a "really good spot" in his rehab following a torn ACL last January. The speedster finally stayed healthy for most of the 2024 campaign after lingering hamstring issues in 2023, but the significant knee injury cost him the NFC Wild Card matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles and puts his future in question. After Green Bay selected Matthew Golden in the first round and Savion Williams in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Watson's days in Green Bay could be numbered. The North Dakota State product has flashed upside and speed in short spurts, but his injury misfortune has limited his ability to be a consistent contributor. Through his first 38 regular-season games, Watson has collected 98 receptions for 1,653 yards and 14 touchdowns.Source: NFL.com
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Packers Release Tulu Griffin
Tulu Griffin, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst. Griffin will be looking to join a new organization after just signing a Reserve/Futures deal with the Packers back in January. However, the Packers needed to make a little room on their current roster after drafting both Matthew Golden (first round) and Savion Williams (third round) in last month's NFL draft. Griffin, who is a 24 years old, has yet to make his debut in the NFL after going undrafted out of Mississippi State in 2024.Source: Packers.com
The Green Bay Packers released wide receiver Packers Sign Third-Round Rookie Savion Williams
Savion Williams to a four-year, $6.28 million deal. Green Bay has now signed all but two of their picks from April's draft -- their first- and second-rounders. The second of the Pack's drafted wide receivers (Matthew Golden), Williams is a big, physical wideout with excellent speed for his size (6-foot-4, 4.48 40-yard dash). He has all the athletic gifts to be a menace in the league, but is raw as a route runner, making him more of a developmental asset at this time. It seems unlikely that he'll immediately compete for snaps, considering the Packers' loaded WR corps -- filled to the brim with viable NFL-caliber wideouts. Still, he's an intriguing prospect tied to one of the league's better quarterbacks. If the 23-year-old can hammer out the finer details, seeing him carve out a role with Green Bay wouldn't be surprising.Source: Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have signed third-round rookie wide receiver Packers Sign John Williams, Five Other Draft Picks
Savion Williams (No. 87 overall, third round), defensive linemen Warren Brinson (No. 198 overall, sixth round), Collin Oliver (No. 159 overall, fifth round), and Barryn Sorrell (No. 124 overall, fourth round) and cornerback Micah Robinson (No. 237 overall, seventh round). Williams, who is listed as an offensive guard, stands at 6-foot-4 and 322 pounds. He didn't play much in college until his senior year at Cincinnati, and he represents a developmental offensive-guard prospect for the Packers heading into the 2025 season this fall. Williams has good size but lacks agility, which is why he'll likely stick on the interior.Source: NFL.com
The Green Bay Packers have been busy signing some of their 2025 NFL draft picks from last week. NFL.com reports that they have signed offensive lineman John Williams (No. 250 overall in the seventh round), wide receiver Jaire Alexander Not Participating In Voluntary Offseason Work
Source: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) is not taking part in the team's voluntary offseason program. "I just know we're trying to work through it," LaFleur said. Alexander took part in the team's remote sessions last week, but it's not a big surprise that he's not doing any physical activities yet after having offseason surgery to fix a PCL tear in his right knee. Although it's unclear if the veteran defensive back will even be back in Green Bay for the 2025 season, a report surfaced earlier this week that the two sides continue to discuss a resolution to keep him in town. Alexander has $24.6 million and $27 million salary cap hits over the next two seasons, which is likely why he hasn't been traded. The former 18th overall pick in 2018 out of Louisville is a two-time Pro Bowler but has played in just 14 games the last two seasons due to injuries.Christian Watson Working Hard In Recovery From Torn ACL
Christian Watson (knee) is doing well in his recovery from a torn right ACL that he suffered in early January of this year. "He's been outstanding. Great attitude and he's working hard. That's all you can ask of anybody," LaFleur said. It's good to hear that Watson's attitude has been great during a grueling rehab, but he's still probably unlikely to be ready for the start of the 2025 regular season this fall. The 25-year-old's serious knee injury is part of the reason the Packers broke their long run of taking a wideout in the first round when they selected former Texas pass-catcher Matthew Golden with the 23rd overall pick. Green Bay doubled down on receiver depth and took Savion Williams in the third round. Not only will Watson potentially miss half the season, but the Packers' wideout room just became a lot more crowded.Source: Packers.com - Weston Hodkiewicz
Per Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, wide receiver Collin Oliver Signs Four-Year Deal With Green Bay
Source: Adam Schefter
Former Oklahoma State linebacker Collin Oliver has signed a four-year, $4.6 million deal with the Green Bay Packers. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news. The Oklahoma City native was chosen with the No. 159 overall pick in April's draft. Oliver didn't miss a game throughout his first three seasons as a Cowboy and started all 14 games as a Junior, notching 73 tackles, six sacks, 15.5 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles. However, he'd start just two games in 2024 after suffering a right foot injury. He spent only two years at linebacker in college, as he converted from defensive end after his first two campaigns, so there's some pass-rush intrigue here, as he recorded 11.5 sacks in 14 games in his true freshman season (one start). Oliver lacks the length and size to handle edge duties full time, but he could be an impact rotational player if he puts his foot issues behind him.
