Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will try to help his team avoid three straight losses to start the season on Thursday night, but he'll have a tough road matchup against the Bills. Buffalo's defense gave up a big game in Week 1 against the Ravens, but bounced back to shut down the Jets last week. The Dolphins' passing game struggled badly in Week 1 but bounced back with a much better Week 2. Tua threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw a critical interception and missed other key potential opportunities. The Dolphins' offense has looked off since last year, and on the road against Buffalo on a short week is a tough place to count on Tua figuring it out. Additionally, he could also be without Jaylen Waddle (shoulder), who is questionable. He's just the QB27 in the RotoBaller rankings this week, meaning even in two-QB leagues, he isn't a great starting option this week.--Zach Thompson

Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday and got in a limited session, per Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle. He is expected to make his team and season debut in Week 3 against his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, after he missed the first two weeks of the season. Fellow wideout Braxton Berrios (hamstring) is also expected to make his season debut this weekend. The 28-year-old Kirk is expected to be Houston's starting slot receiver when healthy, but don't be surprised if they ease him back into action against the Jags. In a Texans offense that has struggled to sustain drives through two weeks, we wouldn't recommend Kirk as anything more than a shaky WR5/flex if he's active on Sunday for his debut with the team. His impending return is bad news for both rookie receivers Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel.--Keith Hernandez

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) is not scheduled to practice on Wednesday as the team begins preparations for the Week 3 game against the division-rival Arizona Cardinals. Jennings injured his shoulder in the Week 1 win over the Seattle Seahawks and then picked up an ankle injury in Sunday's win over the New Orleans Saints. The 28-year-old also dealt with a calf injury for most of the summer, so it's been one thing after another for him so far in 2025. The good news is that he played 87% of the offensive snaps in Week 2 and caught five of his 10 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown as the top target for backup quarterback Mac Jones. Starter Brock Purdy (toe) is expected to miss at least another week, so if Jennings plays this Sunday against Arizona, he should be viewed as a boom/bust WR4/flex in fantasy lineups.--Keith Hernandez

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs (ankle) was unable to practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury. Fantasy managers should continue to keep a close eye on his status. If he is unable to log a limited session by the end of the week, he could be in danger of missing their Week 3 contest against the Tennessee Titans. Through the first two games of the season, Downs has been deployed as their No. 3 WR. In Week 1, Downs only saw three targets. He was able to bring in two of them for 12 yards. However, in Week 2, Downs was able to see eight targets and caught six for 51 yards. Seeing that Downs is typically not on the field as often as Alec Pierce and Michael Pittman Jr., his upside will continue to be limited. If he can play against the Titans, he carries high-risk flex upside given his lower role in the offense.--Andy Smith

Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren (toe) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report due to a toe injury. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status during the week, as he could be dealing with a serious injury. Through his first two games in the NFL, the former Penn State standout has enjoyed an outstanding start to his career. Warren has emerged as a key component of the Indianapolis offense, as he has caught 11 of his 16 targets for 155 yards. With Daniel Jones enjoying a career resurgence in Indianapolis, Warren should continue to hold high-end TE1 value for the foreseeable future. If Warren were to sit out in Week 3 when the Colts face the Tennessee Titans, wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce, and Josh Downs should see an increased target share.--Andy Smith

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe, shoulder) logged a limited practice on Wednesday and has "a chance" to play as the backup in Week 3, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Purdy was unable to play in Week 2 due to a "turf toe variant" and this shoulder injury. However, seeing him already upgraded to limited status does put him in a good position to suit up this weekend when the 49ers face the Arizona Cardinals. Fantasy managers should continue to keep a close eye on his status during the week. In Week 1, Purdy enjoyed a strong start to the season, going 26-for-35 with 277 passing yards and two passing scores en route to defeating the Seattle Seahawks. With Purdy sidelined, the 49ers turned to Mac Jones to lead the offense last weekend. If Purdy were to remain sidelined, Jones would carry mid-end QB2 value facing the Cardinals.--Andy Smith

New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (calf) finds himself on the Week 3 injury report after he was limited in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Rookie Cam Skattebo is also on the report with an ankle injury, but he was a full-go on Wednesday and should be fine for Sunday night's tilt against a stiff Kansas City Chiefs defense. Tracy played 74% of the offensive snaps in the Week 1 loss to the Washington Commanders, but that number dropped to 42% in Sunday's overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys as he watched Skattebo take over the backfield and score his first career touchdown. The 25-year-old second-year back is being used as a returner on special teams now, too, which could signal that the Giants are already comfortable giving Skattebo a bigger role in the backfield. Now dealing with an injury, Tracy is quickly losing fantasy appeal and is shaping up as a shaky RB3/flex if he plays in Week 3.--Keith Hernandez

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (quadriceps) was limited during Wednesday's practice due to a quadriceps injury. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status during the week in case this injury begins to linger. However, seeing him open the week in limited capacity should not put him in danger of missing their Week 3 clash against the Dallas Cowboys. Through the first two weeks of the season, Swift has operated as the clear workhorse back of the Chicago backfield, taking 29 carries for 116 yards and a score. Through the air, Swift has seen eight targets and brought in six receptions for 18yards. If Swift were to be limited in Week 3, fantasy managers should expect rookie Kyle Monangai to take on a larger workload.--Andy Smith

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (foot) is on the Week 3 injury report and was listed as a limited participant in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. In addition to Robinson, fellow wideout Darius Slayton (calf, groin) was also limited. Robinson had an ankle injury last week but was active in the Week 2 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys and looked fully healthy, going off for eight catches on 10 targets for 142 yards and a touchdown. While the 24-year-old's status bears watching ahead of this Sunday night's showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs, he figures to have a good shot at suiting up. Robinson has been one of quarterback Russell Wilson's favorite targets behind Malik Nabers in a pass-happy offense through two weeks, making him a priority waiver-wire addition this week. However, don't be surprised if Wan'Dale and the Giants' offense comes back to Earth in Week 3 against a strong Chiefs defense on Sunday night.--Keith Hernandez

Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris had high praise for running back Bijan Robinson while talking to reporters on Wednesday. "He's definitely the best player in football," Morris said. He may not be wrong. Through the first two weeks of the 2025 NFL season, Robinson checks in as the RB4 in half-PPR scoring with 167 rushing yards on 34 carries. He has added nine receptions on 12 targets for an additional 125 yards (tied for most among RBs) and a touchdown through the air. The 23-year-old's high-end abilities on the ground were on full display in Sunday night's win over the Minnesota Vikings, when he ran for 143 yards on 22 carries. He has started his 2025 campaign with two straight weeks surpassing 100 scrimmage yards and seems primed to make it a third straight in a plus Week 3 divisional matchup against the Carolina Panthers.--Keith Hernandez

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), who was inactive for the Week 2 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl rematch due to a knee sprain he suffered in the season-opening win over the Dallas Cowboys, returned to the practice field on Wednesday, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. While it's not guaranteed that Goedert will play in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams just yet, this is certainly a positive sign for his availability this weekend. The 30-year-old caught all seven of his targets for 44 yards in Week 1 and should be considered a must-start TE1 in fantasy if he returns for Week 3 action. With Goedert out against Kansas City, backup Grant Calcaterra finished with only one catch on two targets for six yards.--Keith Hernandez

Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley (oblique) remains out of practice on Wednesday as the team begins preparations for Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams, according to Zach Berman of The Athletic. Shipley suffered an oblique injury in the season-opening win over the Dallas Cowboys and was inactive for the Week 2 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl rematch. Since the 23-year-old's injury in Week 1, the Eagles went out and acquired Tank Bigsby in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars for additional backfield depth behind starter Saquon Barkley. In addition to Bigsby, Philly also has AJ Dillon as an option at the position, so when Shipley is healthy enough to return to the field, he figures to take on a smaller role as a change-of-pace option behind Barkley.--Keith Hernandez

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said on Wednesday that the team will put Pro Bowl pass-rusher Khalil Mack (elbow) on Injured Reserve, according to Kris Rhim of ESPN. The move means that Mack will miss at least the next four weeks after he suffered a dislocated elbow in the Week 2 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday. It's not a long-term injury, but the 34-year-old veteran pass-rusher won't be eligible to return to the Bolts' defense until Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts. It's a blow to a strong L.A. defense, as the Chargers are relying more on Mack as a pass-rusher with Joey Bosa no longer in town. Since coming to the Chargers in 2022, Mack has had a whopping 32 sacks. With Mack out until at least Week 7, former first-rounder Bud Dupree will see more snaps across from Tuli Tuipulotu.--Keith Hernandez

Tennessee Titans rookie tight end Gunnar Helm has been active in the first two weeks of the 2025 season, but he's been minimally involved in the offense to begin his career. Helm played just over 33 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams while securing both of his targets for only nine yards. Through his first two NFL games, the fourth-rounder out of Texas has three catches on four targets for 25 yards. So far, he has been targeted in the short areas of the field by rookie quarterback Cam Ward and is the clear No. 2 TE behind Chig Okonkwo in Tennessee. Helm may become a bigger part of the Titans' offense as the season unfolds, but for now, unless Okonkwo misses time with an injury, he belongs on the waiver wire in single-year fantasy formats.--Keith Hernandez

Los Angeles Chargers rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden is hoping to be active in the Week 3 divisional tilt this Sunday against the visiting Denver Broncos after he was a healthy scratch in the first two weeks in wins over the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders. We'd be surprised if the 22-year-old was active this weekend, as he just doesn't appear to be a part of the Bolts' offensive game plan at the position with veterans Will Dissly and Tyler Conklin ahead of him. The converted receiver from Syracuse put up big numbers as a pass-catcher in college, but for now, he'll serve as depth at the position for the 2-0 Chargers. The 6-foot-5, 241-pounder was a fifth-round pick back in April. He likely must improve his blocking to have a shot at being active on game days.--Keith Hernandez
