Nico Echavarria has not played all that poorly of late. The golfer from Colombia has missed the cut in three of his previous four events. Echavarria could not make enough birdies at The Cognizant. However, at The Players, he blew up with a 77 which featured an ugly second round. Echavarria started with two straight bogeys and ended with consecutive double bogeys. Florida has not been too kind to the Colombian golfer. Putting has been very good and that may help. However, Echavarria must get the ball in position. His problem last week was too many errant approaches. Echavarria is quite a longer shot at +17000 via DraftKings. One may find him approaching +20000 at a book or two. If he gets to the weekend, could he win? Echavarria almost did at The Sony Open (P2). --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
