Nico Echavarria An Intriguing Play Again This Week At PGA West
It has been an impressive run over the last several months for Nico Echavarria, as the Columbian star nearly captured his second PGA Tour victory last week at Waialae. But truthfully, he's given himself chances in almost every start since winning the ZOZO Championship in October of last year. On the greens is where Echavarria has found most of his success since that victory, averaging 1.17 strokes gained putting in the four events where ShotLink was available. His record at PGA West isn't anything to get excited about (missed cut and a T65), but he certainly feels like a different player this time as long as the hangover from last week isn't too strong.
