6 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 2-for-4 on Wednesday, including his 31st home run of the season in the Mariners 10-7 loss to the Astros. Cruz also scored two runs in the game and it was good to see the veteran slugger take one over the fence. Cruz came into the game struggling at the plate recently, hitting .178 over his last seven games including Wednesday. Cruz may be on the verge of breaking loose from his slump and can go on a hot streak as quickly as any hitter in the game.--Joey C - RotoBaller
