Nationals Bringing Back Daniel Hudson
Daniel Hudson on Monday, according to sources familiar with the agreement. Hudson was excellent for the Nationals after coming over from the Blue Jays in 2019, going 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, six saves and 8.3 K/9 in 25 innings down the stretch. He recorded the last out to help Washington beat the Astros in Game 7 of the World Series. Hudson really stepped up in the late innings to close out the season, but he'll likely be a setup arm in the eighth inning ahead of Sean Doolittle if Doolittle is healthy in 2020.
