Detroit Red Wings defenseman Moritz Seider played a key role in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win against Montreal, helping to set up three goals. He started by assisting Jonatan Berggren in a power-play situation and then added two even-strength helpers, including in the extra frame when Robby Fabbri ended the game. Seider now needs to log just two more multi-point games before April 6 to break Nicklas Lidstrom's franchise record for the most such efforts by a defenseman at age 21 or younger. He has taken a step back compared to his big 2021-22 campaign, but it appears that Seider is only just getting started this season -- half of his 24 points have come in January.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
