Phoenix Suns head coach Monty Williams was announced as a runaway winner of the 2021-22 NBA Coach of the Year honors Monday. Having garnered 81 of the 100 first-place votes, Williams placed among the top 3 in each ballot. Memphis' Taylor Jenkins finished second overall, having earned 17 first-place votes. Miami's Erik Spoelstra and Boston's Ime Udoka both also earned one first-place vote, and finished third and fourth in the voting, respectively.
